Anyone is not obliged to continue the relationship even if something intimate happen to you and your partner. Since both of you acted on impulse, disregarding the consequences. If you believe your boyfriend is losing his interest in you, it is best to stop the relationship. This means cutting all communications--ignoring his text messages, even exchanging your SIM card, if necessary. Forcing a relationship based on virginity issue alone will mean more regrets in the future. A breather in the relationship would give both of you time to evaluate your true feelings for each other.

Here are some things you may consider to help you decide whether or not to end the relationship:

- Have you done a background check to make sure he is what you think he is?
- Does he respect you when you won't give in to his desires?
- Does he communicate with you often to let you know you're always in his mind?
- Do you spend more time knowing each other than engaging in impure intimacy?
- Do you share values such as respect, resourcefulness and responsibility?
- Do you belong to the same religion?
- Is he practicing clean living?
- Is he a practical person?

If you answer no to this questions, then it is practical to end the relationship.

White has his direct advice in Message to Young People...."Even if an engagement has been entered into without a full understanding of the character of the one with whom you intend to unite, do not think that the engagement makes it positive necessity for you to take upon yourself the marriage vow, and link yourself for life to one whom you cannot love and respect. Be very careful how you enter into conditional engagements; but better, far better break the engagement before marriage than separate afterward, as many do.

Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don't try to figure out everything on your won. Listen for God's voice in everything you do, he's the one who will keep you on track.
